Refund Policy

ArtVentures Fund is a close-ended SEBI Category I Alternative Investment Fund (Angel Fund). Unlike a purchase of goods or services, a capital commitment to the Fund is not a transaction that can be "refunded" on request. This page explains, at a high level, how cancellations and withdrawals are handled at different stages of the process. The Fund's Private Placement Memorandum ("PPM") and your executed subscription documents govern in the event of any conflict with this page.

1. Before you commit capital

You may withdraw from the onboarding process at any time before signing subscription documents and making a capital commitment, at no cost. Any KYC or accreditation verification fees paid to third-party processors during onboarding may not be recoverable, as they are incurred with the service provider directly.

2. After a commitment, before a capital call is drawn down

Once you have signed subscription documents, your commitment becomes binding subject to the terms of the PPM. Whether and on what terms an undrawn commitment can be withdrawn before a capital call is issued is governed exclusively by the PPM and your subscription agreement — not by this website.

3. After capital has been drawn down and invested

Once capital has been called and deployed into a portfolio company, it is not refundable. As a close-ended AIF, the Fund does not offer redemption of units before the end of the fund term, except as expressly permitted under the PPM and applicable SEBI regulations (including any applicable lock-in requirements).

4. Fees

Management fees, carried interest, and other charges are described in the PPM. Fees already accrued or paid in accordance with the PPM are not refundable except where the PPM expressly provides otherwise.
